Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Stainless Steel Hood Latch with Mounting Bracket. This hood latch is gonna replace a worn out or damaged latch on your hood of your Jeep, or agricultural vehicle to help keep your hood closed. This does have a 90 degree mount that's going to allow the hook in the bracket to be positioned on the same plane. It is made here in the USA of a stainless steel construction so it is going to be rustproof and corrosion resistant. Very simple bolt-on installation.
The mounting hardware is not included, but that mounting bracket is right at two and one eighth of an inch long, by about one and one eighth of an inch wide. The distance between our mounting holes is approximately one and a quarter of an inch. And it'll be hard to show you but this does have a free length of three and nine sixteenths of an inch, a hooking length of four and one sixteenths of an inch, and then an extended length of about four and 11 sixteenths of an inch. So if you're needing to replace that hood latch for your Jeep or agricultural vehicle, this will do a great job for you. Now that completes our look for today.
